THE MOBILITY LAB FOUNDATION ATTENDS THE BARCELONA SMART CITY FAIR

The Mobility Lab will participate in Tomorrow Mobility, the space dedicated to mobility at the Smart City World Congress

Fundación Mobility Lab Vitoria-Gasteiz will attend the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEW), the international summit on smart cities and urban solutions that will take place from 5 to 7 November at the Fira de Barcelona.

The event will address strategies to transform today’s metropolises into more sustainable and livable spaces, bringing together leading companies from around the world to showcase the latest solutions and technologies to make cities more efficient in different areas such as mobility, public services, utilities, citizen participation and sustainability.

The Smart City Fair will bring together at its congress more than 600 international speakers and experts to share the latest experiences and advances in urban transformation within the framework of a conference program structured around eight thematic axes: Enabling Technologies, Energy and Environment, Mobility, Governance, Life and Inclusion, Economy, Infrastructures and Buildings; and Safety and Security.

The Mobility Lab Foundation will attend the third edition of Tomorrow Mobility, an event jointly organized by Fira de Barcelona and EIT Urban Mobility with the aim of developing a new paradigm for sustainable urban mobility.

For Iñigo Bilbao, Managing Director of Mobility Lab, this Fair is an opportunity to publicize the work being carried out by Mobility LAB, technologies and to capture innovative projects for Alava. “It will be an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and present the experimentation spaces that have been defined, the data space they are working on and some specific projects they are developing as Standtrack”, said Iñigo Bilbao.

The second editions of Tomorrow.Building, focused on innovative construction, and Tomorrow.Blue Economy, aimed at harnessing the full potential of ocean resources for sustainable economic growth, will be held at the same fair.

The fair, which is held every year in Barcelona, is expected to have the participation of 1,100 exhibitors, 850 cities and more than 25,000 attendees from November 5 to 7 and will occupy pavilions 2 and 3 of the Gran Vía exhibition center.
