MOBILITY LAB PROMOTES A CONFERENCE FOR COMPANIES IN ALAVA ABOUT DATA SPACES APPLIED TO LOGISTICS AND LAST-MILE DISTRIBUTION
The objective will be to demonstrate that this technology is accessible and can be a key tool for improving the efficiency, connectivity, and sustainability of Álava’s logistics and industrial environment.
The Mobility LAB, in collaboration with the Vitoria-Gasteiz Intermodal Transport Centre, will hold a conference on 21 January for companies in Álava to showcase the potential of data spaces in intermodal logistics and last-mile urban distribution.
The meeting is intended to prove that this technology, often perceived as complex or distant, is accessible and can become a key tool for improving the efficiency, connectivity, and sustainability of Álava’s logistics and industrial environment.
During the morning, different speakers will offer a practical overview based on real-life cases. The Computing Centre of Álava will introduce the fundamental concepts of data spaces, while Mobility LAB will present specific projects already underway in the region. The programme will also include experiences and presentations by ADIF, the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, and other cities, which will share success stories, showcasing real applications and integration opportunities for businesses.
Participants will also learn how to access the Data Spaces Kit, a resource designed to facilitate the implementation of these technological solutions.
The event will take place at the Europa Conference Centre in Vitoria-Gasteiz, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration will be free and will open shortly, along with the publication of the full programme.
