MOBILITY LAB ORGANISES A CONFERENCE TO PRESENT THE INNOVATION LAB INITIATIVE, EIGHT EXPERIMENTATION SPACES FOR TESTING INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS IN MOBILITY AND LOGISTICS
The session will open a space for dialogue through three contrasting tables for the joint identification of challenges and opportunities
The Mobility LAB Vitoria-Gasteiz Foundation, promoted by the Provincial Council of Alava and the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, has organised a technical conference to present the Innovation Lab initiative to technology and logistics agents, eight experimentation spaces for testing innovative solutions in areas such as intelligent public transport, autonomous and connected vehicles, last mile distribution, intermodal logistics, drones, high capacity roads, road safety and micro mobility.
‘Innovation Lab: Spaces for Experimentation. Charting the future of mobility and logistics’, is the title of the conference, which will take place on Thursday, 13 March at the Europa Conference Centre from 10:00 to 13:30 in the morning, and which aims to explain the logic of the eight experimentation spaces and the opportunities they offer to develop and validate innovative solutions.
The session will open a space for dialogue aimed at jointly identifying challenges and opportunities that the different spaces can offer. Through this dynamic, the participating agents will be able to share their knowledge and experience to enrich the conceptualisation and prioritise, through concrete use cases and potential scenarios, key needs for the testing of innovative solutions.
The Deputy General of Alava, Ramiro González Vicente, and the Mayoress of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Maider Etxebarria García, will open the day, which will feature three contrasting round tables:
– Intermodal logistics and last mile distribution;
– Connected and autonomous vehicles, high-capacity roads and drones; and
– Intelligent public transport, active mobility and micro mobility and road safety and accessibility.
To encourage networking and the synergies that may arise from the dialogue, we will have a coffee break where we can continue exchanging ideas.
If you would like to attend the conference, please fill in the form and select which of the tables you would like to participate in.
